when to book
This is the most frequently asked question I receive from couples planning their wedding, and the short answer is: the sooner the better. Stationers only take so many clients per season, so if you love their work, and have a prime season wedding date, reach out to start the conversation as soon as possible. I have created the below timeline based on current supply and production timelines, my own workflow and also mailing timelines. There are situations where I may advise an adjusted timeframe, but these give enough wiggle room for production to prevent running into obstacles or guests receiving their invitations late.

Our signs that Brittany created pulled our entire look together in a way I did not expect, but will never forget! Brittany is the best!! She was very easy to work with, super responsive and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. Hi, I’m Brittany, the designer and creative behind Letters & Dust.
For more than thirteen years, I’ve been turning ideas into thoughtfully designed details for weddings and celebrations. What began with hand-lettering has grown into a love for paper, illustration, signage, installations, and just about any creative challenge that couples and clients bring my way.
I’m based near Portland, Oregon, where I live with my family and am almost always making something either for my kids or with them. I love getting to know my clients, discovering what they’re drawn to, and creating pieces that feel personal, unexpected, and distinctly theirs.
